Abstract
|

|
B-cell immunoblastic sarcoma is distinguished as a distinct clinicopathologic entity
which is a Iymphoma of the large cell type composed of monomorphorous proliferation
of transformed B-Iymphocytes(immunoblast). And it is characterized by prior history of
immune disorders or Iymphoproliferative diseases, and immunoglobulinopathy.
Presented here, a case of B-cell immunoblastic sarcoma with monoclonal gammopathy
(IgG, Kappa type) in 55 year-old female patient and this might be the first case in
Korea to our best knowledge.
The histiologic examination of a cervical Iymph node revealed malignant Iymphoma,
large cell, B-immunoblastic type with intracytoplasmic immunoglobulin of IgG, Kappa
type. The bone marrow examination revealed plasmocytosis, of which the majority
revealed mature plasma cell of polyclonal origin.
